Hi Everyone,
I’m back again with another update from the Alinity team. It’s been a little while since the last update, so I have a few things to let you know about. This time I thought I’d update you on how things are progressing with Alinity version 6, introduce you to a couple of new Alinity™ clients and talk about an exciting new feature on our new website. Also, Kris Dawson provides an update on an Alinity version 6 feature. As always, I hope you find this information helpful and informative.

I read this article last week about another laptop hard drive that went missing from an Edmonton healthcare facility - this time the at the Misercordia. The article that I was reading is here (http://www.canhealth.com/News1633.html ) , however I'm sure there are other reports of it in other journals.

Hi Everyone,
I’m Jeff Burns and I am the Business Manager for Alinity™. I’m responsible for managing contracts and agreements, planning Alinity™ team resources, developing estimates and quotes and working with clients to make sure that we’re responding to your needs in an efficient manner. I’ve been with Softworks for 3 years now working mostly with our Healthcare Services group. I moved over to the Alinity™ group about 3 months ago as part of our re-organization efforts. I have been really excited to meet many of you (at least over the phone) and I expect to get a chance to work with everyone very soon.
This is the first email of what will be a regular communication to all clients of the Alinity™ solution. These emails are intended to give brief updates on changes in our service, Alinity™, upcoming projects, new enhancements, usage tips and other interesting topics. I hope you’ll find the information helpful and informative. If you have any questions, please drop me an email (jeff.b@alinity.com) or give me a call (780.429.7462 ext. 23) at any time.

I'd like to welcome 3 new faces to the Alinity development team. Ted, Art and Adam all join the Alinity group and bring with them almost 30 years of experience in development of healthcare related applications. This experience includes online applications to assist with the management of registrants for the Alberta Medical Association and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
